FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you offer one-hour driving lessons?
No. My standard driving lessons are two hours. This gives us enough time to develop skills properly and use roads appropriate to your stage of learning without a disproportionate amount of the lesson being taken up travelling there and back.
Do you provide manual driving lessons?
No. I provide automatic driving tuition only.
Can I pay for lessons individually?
Yes. You do not need to purchase a block. A standard two-hour weekday daytime lesson is £84.
Is there a discount for paying in advance?
Yes. Five individual weekday daytime two-hour lessons would cost £420. The 10-hour prepaid weekday daytime block is £410, saving £10.
How many lessons will I need?
There isn’t a fixed number that applies to everybody. Previous experience, confidence, frequency of tuition, private practice and individual rate of development can all affect how much tuition you need. I will assess your progress as your driving develops rather than promise that you will reach test standard within a predetermined number of hours.
Can I book a mock driving test if I learn with another instructor?
Yes. You do not need to be one of my regular pupils to book a Mock Driving Test & Development Session.
Which intensive course should I choose?
If you already have driving experience, I recommend starting with a two-hour pre-course assessment rather than guessing how many hours you need. I can assess your current driving and recommend an appropriate amount of tuition based on what I observe.
